Once Upon A Time in the Summer 2026 Tour - Celebrating 35 Years of Cypress Hill

Three decades ago, B-Real, Sen Dog, and DJ Muggs sparked a trip that left popular culture stoned, stunned, and staggering in anticipation for more. Naming themselves after a local street in Los Angeles, Cypress Hill burst on the scene in 1991 with the release of their self-titled debut album. The singles “How I Could Just Kill a Man” and “The Phuncky Feel One” became underground hits, and the group’s public pro-marijuana stance earned them many fans among the alternative rock community. Cypress Hill followed their debut with Black Sunday in the summer of 1993, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200, garnered three GRAMMY® Award nominations, and went triple platinum in the U.S. As a result, Cypress Hill became the first rap group to have two albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 charts at the same time and are the first Latino-American hip-hop group to achieve platinum and multi-platinum success.

Since the release of Black Sunday, Cypress Hill have put out seven more albums including 2018’s critically acclaimed, Elephants on Acid. Cypress Hill made history once again in 2019 when the group was honored with their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In 2021, Cypress Hill released “Champion Sound.” Produced by Black Milk, the single appears on the soundtrack of R.B.I Baseball 21 and is also the featured song for the band’s partnership with Montejo Cerveza. 2021 also saw Cypress Hill celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut with a SONY reissue on vinyl, 7-inch box set, a reissue across all DSP’s that includes eight unreleased tracks, as well as a graphic novel and their very own STANCE sock. Cypress Hill continue to be busier than ever in 2022. On March 18, 2002, the band released Back In Black to critical acclaim. In their review of the album, Kerrang declared it “solidifies their status as a collective still expanding upon their legacy.”

On April 20, 2022 Cypress Hill released their “Insane in the Brain” documentary, which is part of Mass Appeal’s “Hip Hop 50” franchise in partnership with Showtime. Upon its release, the New York Times said the documentary was “an often-engaging chronicle of the group”, while Variety declared “the Cypress Hill documentary should put into perspective their pervasive influence and groundbreaking, Latin-tinged hip-hop crossed with booming metallic rock.”

On July 10, 2024, Cypress Hill once again made pop culture history performing a historic show with the London Symphony at the Royal Albert Hall. Initially predicted by an episode of The Simpsons 28 years prior, the collaboration was brought to life in a sold-out, one-night-only event that showcased their revered Black Sunday album with an unforgettable classical crossover. Hailed by several publications as a piece of “hip hop history,” Louder Sound noted that the group “sets a whole new standard for crossover.”

John Mulaney is a four-time Emmy Award, Critics Choice award and WGA award-winning writer, comedian and actor. Most recently, Mulaney can be seen as the host, writer and executive producer of his Netflix talk show EVERYBODY'S LIVE WITH JOHN MULANEY. The show serves as the continuation of the series EVERYBODY'S IN LA. The series features monologues, guests, pre-taped sketches, musical segments and more. EVERYBODY’S IN LA, was a six-night live comedy series that explored Los Angeles during the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in 2024. In December 2024, Mulaney starred in the Broadway play “All In: Comedy About Love,” alongside a cast including Fred Armisen, Richard Kind and Renee Elise Goldsberry. Mulaney is currently on the first leg of his newest stand-up tour, JOHN MULANEY: MISTER WHATEVER, performing across North America. Mulaney can next be seen in the Amazon MGM Studios film, MADDEN, an upcoming American biographical sports drama directed by David O. Russell.

Country music superstar and multi-award winner Cole Swindell released new music from his upcoming fifth studio album for Warner Music Nashville including his current radio single “Forever To Me,” and the digital only releases of “One Day” and “3 Feet Tall,” which Country Now called a “Song of the Year contender” and “one of the most important songs Cole Swindell has ever released.”

In 1973, out of the remnants of late ’60s political activism and the rising post-punk music climate, the seminal band DEVO was born. The formative lineup consisted of two sets of brothers—Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh, and Gerald and Bob Casale—along with drummer Alan Myers, all hailing from Akron, Ohio

The band’s prophetic message of “Devolution” and their strikingly original fusion of electronics and punk made them a singular influence throughout the ’80s and into the ’90s. DEVO began when Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale met as students at Kent State University and began exchanging ideas about art and music. 

Deeply influenced by the Vietnam War, campus protests, and the tragic Kent State shootings of May 1970, the duo started making films and writing songs that would evolve into a wholly unique performance style. Their art-meets-music ethos quickly propelled them into the spotlight as one of the most high-profile acts in the New Wave movement, earning them a fervent cult following that included David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Neil Young.

In 1978, after an impromptu endorsement at Max’s Kansas City where David Bowie declared them “the band of the future,” DEVO was whisked off to Germany. There, Brian Eno—along with Bowie’s collaboration—produced their debut album Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are DEVO!. The record caught the attention of both critics and the industry, helping the band build a devoted following. It wasn’t until their third album, Freedom of Choice—produced by Bob Margouleff and featuring the double-platinum single Whip It—that DEVO became a worldwide phenomenon.

Seth Meyers is an Emmy Award-winning writer, New York Times bestselling author and host of NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” since 2014. With stylistic nods toward folk, jam band music, hip-hop, and soft rock, and with equal parts cheeky humor and earnest sincerity, Jason Mraz's breezy melodic pop is often synonymous with the beachfronts of his adopted home state of California. Mraz first came to the public's attention with "The Remedy (Don't Worry)" from his 2002 debut, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, and by the time he achieved global success with 2008's international Top Ten charting "I'm Yours" -- a Grammy nominee for Song of the Year -- Mraz was already one of the more prominent singer/songwriters of the era. He took home two Grammy Awards in 2010 -- for "Make It Mine" (Best Male Pop Vocal Performance) and "Lucky" (Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, with Colbie Caillat) -- both, like "I'm Yours," from 2008's sleek We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things., which reached number three on the Billboard 200. He had another smash single with 2012's "I Won't Give Up" from that year's '70s soul-infused Love Is a Four Letter Word, a U.S. number two. While "I Won't Give. Up" proved to be his final Top 40 outing, Mraz went on to chart highly with albums of upbeat, seduction-preoccupied pop throughout the decade, including 2014's Yes! (number two, U.S. and Canada) and 2018's Know. (number nine and ten, respectively). This period also included a Broadway turn in Sara Bareilles' musical Waitress.
