FAQ

The beloved TV version inspires it, but this is a non-televised, interactive stage production designed for a live audience. The games, energy, and prizes are similar to what you see on TV!

Approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Ticketed guests receive a link to the registration page to fill out and submit in advance. It’s as simple as that. It is not necessary to register again at the theater. Just check in when you arrive and receive your official Price Nametag “Pricetag”. The registration system will close precisely at show time. For those who need assistance, registration will be available at the venue, starting 2 hours prior to show time.

Guests will be required to show valid government issued photo identification to claim a prize. Contestants must be the legal age of majority. Venue staff and vendors, including members of their immediate family are not eligible to register to be a contestant or instant winner.

A random drawing to determine show contestants takes place just prior to the start of the show. The randomly selected names are called out throughout the show. Eligible contestants must be present at the time their name is called, or another randomly selected name will be called.

All contestants are selected entirely at random from the pool of registered guests.

The age of majority in your town or province determines the age requirement to participate in the drawing. Casino shows may require patrons to be 21. Typically, you must be at least 18 years of age to register. Please check your local jurisdiction or state for the age of majority in your town.

Of course! Everyone loves The Price is Right and receives a “Pricetag”. While underage guests are not allowed to register, the show is a great time for guests of all ages.

Non-ticketed guests are allowed to register in-person for a chance to be a randomly selected contestant or instant winner. Guests who have registered in person and without a ticket will be told to be at a pre- determined location at showtime. At or shortly after showtime, a representative of the show will come to that location and check the list of names. If an individual without a ticket has been randomly selected as a contestant, that person will be escorted to an open seat in the venue.

Doors generally open 1–2 hours before showtime. Arriving early gives you time to register (if needed), get your “Pricetag,” and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere.

No, but early arrival is a good idea to avoid the rush! It is not necessary to stay at the theater once you get your “Pricetag”. The only requirement to be a contestant or instant winner is to be present at showtime.

Prizes are often a part of the game play and vary from show to show so no prize list is available. However, the types of prizes are like what you see on television. Appliances, cash, trips and, of course, a new car!

Contestants who have won a prize return to the front of the stage area immediately after the show where the necessary paperwork is filled out. Typical time for this process is 20-30 minutes.

Yes. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, as well as any shipping or delivery fees for their prize. Details will be provided during the prize claim process.

Our hosts are all well-known media personalities. And every one of them will be giving away cash and prizes to lucky contestants!

Photography is allowed before and after the performance. Recording during the show may be restricted depending on venue policy.

Many guests come dressed in fun, colorful outfits or themed costumes—just make sure they’re comfortable enough for cheering and possibly coming on stage!

Yes. Most venues offer accessible seating and accommodation. Contact the box office in advance for assistance.

Outside food and beverages are generally not permitted, but most venues have concessions available for purchase.

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A 18+ AGE RESTRICTION FOR THIS SHOW.

Renowned comedian Ron White, affectionately known as "Tater Salad," catapulted into the limelight as the cigar-wielding, scotch-savoring humorist who stole the spotlight within the Blue Collar Comedy Tour phenomenon. Yet, his trajectory has evolved into an extraordinary journey, one where he has risen to chart-topping Grammy-nominated comic and a captivating feature film actor.

At his core, Ron White remains an exemplar of timeless storytelling. His narratives weave the fabric of his existence, spanning from his upbringing in a Texan hamlet to the reflections of his everyday encounters, ultimately culminating in his ascension as one of America's most celebrated comedians. The unrivaled resonance of his humor is evident in the fact that all four of his comedy albums not only scaled the Billboard Comedy Charts but also claimed the coveted #1 position.

The echoes of his comedic prowess started resonating in 1986, when Ron White embarked on his comedy journey, rapidly establishing himself as an opening act for comedic legends like Sam Kinison and Jeff Foxworthy. As his brilliance matured, he seized the stage as a headliner in comedy clubs, leading to an invitation in 2000 that would define an era: to join the ranks of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy. For over three years, this ensemble embarked on a triumphant odyssey, captivating audiences across 270 cities and amassing over $35 million in ticket sales. The crowning glory was the cinematic rendition, "Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie," which premiered as the most-watched Comedy Central film, leaving an indelible mark on popular culture.

In 2003, Ron White unleashed his breakthrough comedy opus, "Drunk In Public," soon followed by his inaugural one-hour television special, aptly titled "They Call Me Tater Salad." This comedic masterpiece not only shattered viewership records but also solidified its place in history as Comedy Central's most-watched Sunday program. Subsequently, the evolution continued with "You Can’t Fix Stupid," which commanded an audience of 4.5 million viewers, rendering it the third most-watched show in Comedy Central's history. The accompanying CD soared to the #1 rank on the Billboard Comedy Charts and initiated Ron White's journey to Grammy recognition.

Diversifying his creative output, Ron White penned his debut literary endeavor, "Ron 'Tater Salad' White: I Had the Right to Remain Silent…But I Didn’t Have the Ability," swiftly ascending to the New York Times Best Seller List.

Ron’s contributions aren’t confined to comedy alone; the world sees his remarkable generosity as he has championed the US military troops for more than two decades, founding the cherished annual charity event, "Ron White’s Comedy Salute to the Troops." This heartwarming endeavor funneled proceeds to the Armed Forces Foundation, a testament to Ron White's unwavering dedication.

Transitioning seamlessly into the realm of cinema, Ron White gave unforgettable performances in films like "Horrible Bosses," "Sex and the City 2," and the acclaimed "Jayne Mansfield’s Car," in which his charismatic presence emanated. Moreover, his role as a co-Executive Producer in the lauded documentary "Bridegroom" showcased his commitment to meaningful storytelling that resonates beyond laughter. His resolute commitment to the craft brought him to the small screen, as he embarked on a remarkable journey in Cameron Crowe's Showtime series, "Roadies," delivering a standout portrayal that resonated with both audiences and critics alike.

In a symphony of achievements, Ron White's trajectory from humble beginnings to the echelons of comedy and entertainment is nothing short of awe-inspiring. His narratives have not only tickled the world's funny bone but have also etched a profound legacy that transcends stages, screens, and generations.

The Marshall Tucker Band

When you wake up and want to put a smile on your face, you think of the songs that always manage to reach down and touch your soul the moment you hear the first note. The Marshall Tucker Band is one such group that continues to have a profound level of impact on successive generations of listeners who’ve been "Searchin’ for a Rainbow" and found it perfectly represented by this tried-and-true Southern institution over the decades. “I’ve been in tune with how music can make you feel, right from when I was first in the crib,” explains lead vocalist and bandleader Doug Gray, who’s been fronting the MTB since the very beginning. “I was born with that. And I realized it early on, back when I was a little kid and my mom and dad encouraged me to get up there and sing whatever song came on the jukebox. It got to the point where people were listening to me more than what was on the jukebox! There’s a certain gift I found I could share, whether I was in front of five people or 20,000 people. I was blessed with that ability and I’m thankful I can share with others."

The Marshall Tucker Band came together as a young, hungry, and quite driven six-piece outfit in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1972, having duly baptized themselves with the name of a blind piano tuner after they found it inscribed on a key to their original rehearsal space — and they’ve been in tune with tearing it up on live stages both big and small all across the globe ever since. Plus, the band’s mighty music catalog, consisting of more than 20 studio albums and a score of live releases, has racked up multi-platinum album sales many times over. A typically rich MTB setlist is bubbling over
with a healthy dose of hits like the heartfelt singalong “Heard It in a Love Song,” the insistent pleading of “Can’t You See” (the signature tune of MTB’s late co-founding lead guitarist and then-principal songwriter Toy Caldwell), the testifying “Fire on the Mountain,” the wanderlust gallop of “Long Hard Ride,” and the explosive testimony of “Ramblin,’” to name but a few.

Indeed, the secret ingredient to the ongoing success of The Marshall Tucker Band’s influence can be seen and felt far and wide throughout many mainstream digital outlets (Netflix, Amazon, etc.). In essence, it’s this inimitable down-home sonic style that helped make the MTB the first truly progressive Southern band to grace this nation’s airwaves — the proof of which can be found within the grooves and ever-shifting gears of “Take the Highway,” the first song on their self-titled April 1973 debut album on Capricorn Records, The Marshall Tucker Band. “We had the commonality of having all grown up together in Spartanburg,” explains Gray about his original MTB bandmates, guitar wizard Toy Caldwell and his brother, bassist Tommy Caldwell, alongside rhythm guitarist George McCorkle, drummer Paul T. Riddle, and flautist/saxophonist Jerry Eubanks. “The framework for Marshall Tucker’s music is more like a spaceship than a house,” Gray continues, “because you can look out of a lot of windows and see a variety of things that show where we’ve been and what we’ve done, and how we’ve travelled through time to bring those experiences out in all of our songs.”

The Marshall Tucker Band’s influence can be felt far and wide through many respected contemporaries and the artists who’ve followed the path forged by their collective footsteps and footstomps. “MTB helped originate and personify what was to become known as Southern rock, and I was privileged to watch it all come together in the ’70s, night after night,” said the legendary late Charlie Daniels. “In fact, The Charlie Daniels Band has played more dates with The Marshall Tucker Band over the past years than any other band we’ve ever worked with. Even after all these years — after the tragedies, the miles, the personnel changes, and the many developments in the music business.” Daniels added that he never got tired of seeing his MTB brothers on the road: “Whenever Doug Gray walks into my dressing room with that big ol’ smile of his and then we hug each other and sit and talk for a while, the evening is complete.”

“I remember seeing Marshall Tucker and The Outlaws play together in Jacksonville many years ago, when I was just a kid,” recalls Lynyrd Skynyrd lead singer Johnny Van Zant. “And I heard them all over the radio back then too. They were just so cool and so unique that I fell in love with the band, and I also fell in love with the music. Having them open for us on all those dates was like a dream come true, and they’re still as good as I’ve ever seen them. It brought back a lot of memories for me, because I really looked up to those guys when I was first starting out.”

Ed Roland, the lead vocalist and chief songwriter for Collective Soul, adds “The Marshall Tucker Band had a big influence on me and they still do.” Roland, who’s lived the majority of his life in and around Atlanta, also proudly points out that his band’s biggest hit, “Shine,” owes a clear debt to the musical structure of “Can’t You See,” and he’ll often start off by singing the opening line to that song — “I’m gonna take a freight train” — whenever Collective Soul performs “Shine” live. “We don’t want to stray from what we grew up listening to,” Roland continues. “I think that’s something important for people to hear. It’s just who we are, and I don’t think we should run from it. Hopefully, people see that southern connection to the bands we love like Marshall Tucker in our music.”

Doug Gray sees no end to the road that lies ahead for The Marshall Tucker Band, whose legacy is being carried forward by the man himself and his current bandmates, drummer B.B. Borden (Mother’s Finest, The Outlaws), bassist/vocalist Ryan Ware, keyboardist/saxophonist/flautist/vocalist Marcus James Henderson, guitarist/vocalist Chris Hicks, and guitarist/ vocalist Rick Willis. “You know, I think it was Toy Caldwell’s dad who said, ‘There’s more to gray hair than old bones,’ and we still have a lot of stories yet to tell,” Gray concludes. “People ask me all the time what I’m gonna do when I turn 80, and I always say, ‘The same thing that we’re continuing to do now.’ We’re road warriors, there’s no doubt about that — and I don’t intend to slow down.” May the MTB wagon train continue running like the wind on a long hard ride for many more years to come. One thing we absolutely know for sure: If you heard it in a Marshall Tucker Band song, it certainly can’t be wrong.

—Mike Mettler, this ol’ MTB chronologist

That they are still roaring and soaring should be no surprise. That’s just how they are built. TESLA may have been born in the mid 80s, but their bluesy, soulful sound is strongly embedded in the roots of organic, authentic, 1970s rock and roll. The same roots that produced bands like The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith. The ground started shaking in Sacramento, CA, in 1984; gold country that would soon be producing some platinum. They started out as City Kidd, until a suggested name change to TESLA, honoring the eccentric inventor Nikola Tesla who pioneered all things electrical. Their 1986 platinum debut album, Mechanical Resonance, included Top 40 hits “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” 1989’sdouble-platinumThe Great Radio Controversy included hits “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song”. Suddenly, TESLA, who had been touring with bands such as Def Leppard and David Lee Roth, earned headlining status. In 1990, TESLA helped reshape the face of modern rock music by stripping down to the Five Man Acoustical Jam, an informal collection of their biggest hits peppered with rock and roll classics by the Beatles, Stones, and others. This album produced their biggest hit single to date, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Other 90s albums from Tesla include platinum selling Psychotic Supper and Bust a Nut. The band continues to record and release material including 9new albums since 2000 and recently debuted their new single, “Time To Rock!” TESLA has endured many of the same taste-changing challenges that affected many in the post-grunge world, but through it all, their blue-collar work ethic and dedication to the faithful fan base has helped them not just survive, but thrive. TESLA’s legacy is alive and well as they continue to record and sellout venues all over the world. As comfortable, rugged, and dependable as your favorite pair of boots, they endure. TESLA is a celebration of the greatest spirits of rock and roll.
