Celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse with a full day of Lunar New Year traditions and festivities.

Foxwoods celebrates the Chinese Lunar New Year with a traditional Lion Dance performance. You don't want to miss the spectacle as the festivities traverse the resort!

Lion Dance Parade

A powerful Lion Dance performance will kick off the day of festivities, bringing good fortune and scaring away evil spirits. 

The spectacle begins at Rainmaker Expo and journeys throughout the resort.

The dance will be followed by a traditional "dotting of the eye" ceremony for the lions.

  • Wishing Wall: Bring positive thoughts by writing your wish for the New Year on red ribbons and tie them to the decorated Wishing Wall.
