the Return of the Rainmaker Show
The revived production debuts August 14 at 7 pm in Rainmaker Square with a public opening celebration
Mashantucket, CT (August 4, 2026) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino today announced new energy and renewed spirit returning to one of the most storied corners of the premier integrated resort destination. Just steps away from where Foxwoods first opened in 1992, the beloved Rainmaker Show makes its long-awaited return to Rainmaker Square starting on August 14.
As one of the first theatrical, immersive resort productions to debut outside of Las Vegas, The Rainmaker Show is a meaningful part of Foxwoods’ history and one of those unforgettable moments that stay with you long after you leave. Now it's back, and the magic is worth the wait. Rainmaker Square represents the soul of Foxwoods. This is where the story began, and where its next chapter is taking shape.

In 1993, during construction of the Great Cedar Hotel and Casino, Foxwoods envisioned a central feature for what was then known as Town Square. This revived production honors that origin story while reintroducing guests to an immersive piece of Foxwoods history.
The Rainmaker Show will return with a special opening celebration at 7 pm in Rainmaker Square on August 14. Foxwoods invites the public to experience the first live performance of the show in more than a decade. The first 500 guests in attendance will also receive commemorative T-shirts. Following the opening, The Rainmaker Show will run every hour on the hour between 8 am and midnight.
